The "PEGASUS" was originally built for a pilot film based on "SPACE 1999" To be called "SPACE2099" but since sufficient funds could not be found The series was never made. However, the "PEGASUS" is built in the style of craft seen in the original "SPACE 1999" and is a one-off, hand-build model by MARTIN BOWER as witnessed below.

Production for a 15-minute stop-motion student graduation film from the Babelsberg Film School. The film won a Silver Oscar in the "Short Film" category from over a thousand submissions and was screened at film festivals worldwide. The shuttle was built in two different sizes for filming.
